After being approved by the BLM for adoption of wild mustangs, we attended a BLM adoption on September 27th and 28th, 2008, in Windom, Minnesota. The two-day adoption event was open to the public and there were a lot smiling faces on potential adopters and people just coming to take a look at the Wild American Mustangs. Corral pens separated the wild horses and burros by age and gender. They were all so beautiful! The hardest part was going to be leaving with only two! After spending the day at the arena, talking with BLM volunteers, there were two mustangs that really stood out and touched our hearts. Those two mustangs would be loaded into the trailer for a 5 hour journey home to Give Them Love.
